Helena Packer is a leader in the convergence of AI and visual effects for content creation. Her deep understanding of all aspects of visual effects, combined with her background as an artist and filmmaker gives her a unique perspective on blending artistic creativity with technological advancements.
 

Helena built and ran her own visual effects studio where she led a team of artists that created the visual effects for Oscar, Emmy, and Clio awards winning projects. Her VFX supervision includes work on “X-men2”, Charlie Wilson’s War, and most recently work an AI animation project for “Baahubali 3” with renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli.

She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and has served on the VFX Executive Committee and as Chair of the VFX Diversity Committee. Currently she serves on both the Academy's Science and Technology Council and Science and Science and Technology Committee.
